A Few Words: I was lucky enough to grow up with serious mountaineering parents and grandparents. I worked for seven years as a guide on the Salmon, Selway, Green and Yampa rivers. Summers full of many long drives gave me excellent opportunities to poke around the nooks and crannies of the Intermountain West, particularly Utah, Idaho and the Great Basin. Internationally, I have visited Western Mongolia, and my overseas fantasies tend towards the Altai and the Caucauses. But I find plenty of wilderness to keep me busy here!
