Hear, see and experience his struggle and learn about his motivation as he challenges the unfeasible and breaks down all known limits of mankind...and within himself

First documentary on Reinhold Messner, the world's greatest mountaineer, since Werner Herzog's "Dark Glow of the Mountains" in 1984. Messner looks back over his career with surprising candor and self-revelation. His solo climb of Mt. Good film
This film is great, it gives you the inside look on one of the best mountaineers of all time. It really gives you a lot more respect for the man after watching all he did and how to took mountaineering to the next level. Few if any have ever achieved what he has done in a life time of climbing in the hills.

Enjoyable movie
I recently watched this movie on a rainy day and found it quite interesting. I agree with Hotoven that Messner took mountaineering to a higher level, and that few will ever be able to stand in his company.
