My Favorite
I wouldn't normally write a review of a carabiner, since they all do basically what they're intended to, but I really like this belay 'biner and had to share that opinion. I'm using the screw-lock version.
-It's the right shape for me: very similar to the Petzl William.
-I love the size: right between the Petzl William and the Attache.
-It has an offset gate hinge that allows the gate to open a little wider.
-It's 80 grams. Not as light as some of the newer ultralight 'biners but not bad either.
-It has an exceptionally strong, smooth gate lock.
-It uses a keylock design.
-It's priced right.
Overall it's easy to use, functional, affordable and inspires confidence. I'm a happy climber.
