Product Description

Therm-a-Rest site states that this mattress is:

"Our all-purpose car-camping mattress—now warmer than ever.
° Cushioning: Added thickness for increased comfort.
° Extra-Warm: Solid foam core provides superior warmth.

Uses: General car, family, and base camping."

At 2 inches thick I found it just right for my 59 year old aching back and hips this past summer on the hard ground when I rafted along the Arkansas River and camped through Colorado. My fairly new mattress from another well-known company was just not enough after just a few trips.

********An important note here: Based on manufacturer's instructions, be sure to add your own huff and puff air the first time or two making sure the mattress is fully inflated. After that it may require a few puffs now and then.

comfy enough for me
I have several of these from a long time ago. They still work very well and I use them every time I go camping. It works for both a 14 year old and his parents so it is quite useful.
