Untitled Review
This is one of the first quailty climbing movies.I think it is a positive step in thee right direction,as far as getting people exposed to our passion. It is my second favorite climbing movie. Touching the void is my favorite because I am an alpine climber, not an expeditionist.

Very moving story
This is an excellent movie that tells the tragic story of the human struggle and loss on Everest in 1996. Highly recommend reading the book first though.

Pretty Good
This movie was ok but as mentioned was meant for T.V. Would not reccomend getting this. Wasn't that good but it tells a moving story.

Good Video
I thought this video was a good summary of the book. you can tell they were on a budget but did a good job.

While well done I didn't
like the narration; seemed so heavy-handed. I'm a big fan of anything mountaineering in print or in film but this movie always bothers me. Yes, this story is serious and yes, the result was catastrophic but I really wish the viewer had been left to just watch and listen to simple conversations sometimes. Definitely liked Krakauer's book better than the made for TV film.

Good Movie.
I really liked this movie, it does a good job at retelling the story of the 96' disaster on Everest.
