Observations:

Simply put, this was the best $160 I ever spent on a pair of boots. I've had these boots for nearly 7 years and have never once had a blister in them. For those of you who use these in wet/snowy weather, I've reapplied SnoSeal to these boots many times, and they have kept my feet dry until just this past year (Keep in mind this was after 7 YEARS of backpacking AND casual use). They still keep my feet dry in rain, but now sustained snow use will start to soak through the leather. I'd say after 7 years of use, that is definitely acceptable.

If you're the kind of person who routinely hikes with 30, 40, or even 50+ pounds on your back over rough ground, you'll appreciate the feel, comfort, sturdiness, and durability of these boots. They will keep your feet dry and happy. These are a great boots!
