Piz d'Agnel is a mountain part of Albula Group, placed on the boundary of Val d'Agnel and Val Bever. It's the highest point of a series of rocky peaks enclosed between two passes: Fuorcla d'Agnel (2983m) on east and Fuorcla da Flix (3065m) on north which is the only smooth side that permits an easy ascent for hikers.
On the north side it's also host the remains of a small glacier called: Vadret d'Agnel and at the end of it the homonymous small lake. It is commonly climbed in summer but probably mostly in winter by skiers due to its easy approach from the Julier pass. One of the most classic ski route of the area.
At the head of val Bever is placed a confortable hut called "Chamanna Jenatsch", good place for rests and starting point for the surrounding mountains.
