Great headlamp
This headlamp works very well. It is bright, lightweight, and the batteries last a long time. This is a great headlamp for hiking or just kicking it around camp. If you're looking for a headlamp more for mountaineering, then I suggest you take a look over at the Tikka XP.

Back-up
This headlamp is a all around use head lamp. Light weight with plenty of light make it good for a back up.

Horrible life
Maybe I just got a dud, but the battery life on mine is horrible. It lasts for about a night or two of use before it gets so dim it's worthless. I've bought a different headlamp as a replacement.

Long life light.
I Love this lamp! I tried to go all season on a set of batterie and almost made it. Not that I was out in the dark all the time but I was really impresed with the life of the battries. Supper bright and light. Its my primary light now..

Durrable
I have dropped this so many times that it is cracked and missing a hinge. It still has never failed. With lithium batteries the light goes on forever!
