A light high performance half rope. Suitable for experienced cliimbers who want an easy to handle rope , which is light yet strong. When double dry treated the cobra is suited for winter use. A great all rounder.

DOUBLE DRY- OPTIONAL EXTRA

Hydrophobic treatment.

A fluoride solution is deposited on every filament of the sheath, and every filament entering into the composition of the core ropelets, by continuous process, and then heat polymerised. This means the rope will not absorb water and therefore does not get as heavy when wet, and cannot freeze. Recomended for winter use.

I chose it for it's light weight but loved all the other features. It handles well withought kinking, the impact force is indeed low (first hand experience) and its dry treatment seems to last (although not as good as new). It has survived very rough use (I've even used it for tope roping!) with reasonable wear.

Too bad that when I bought it 60m ropes were just getting popular. It's time to retire it anyway, so I'll buy the same in 60m.
