Overview

Lower Green Sleeves is the climb three gullies left of the popular Genesis I. A favorite of the local guide service, it sees much less traffic than Genesis I and is not as difficult.

Approach

Park at the Grotto Falls trailhead in the main fork of Hyalite Canyon. Hike back on the road about 10m from the parking lot and find the well-traveled trail off to the right (east). Follow the trail for 10-15 minutes to the Genesis I wall. From here, follow the cliff band to the left. You will pass the climbs Willow Gully (next to Genesis I), Clump Tree Gully, Ice 101, and the fourth will be Lower Green Sleeves, about twice the distance as from Genesis I to Ice 101.
