Approach


The North Vista Trail starts near the North Rim Campground at the Ranger Station.

Route Description


The trail winds through a pinon-juniper forest to exclamation point long view of the canyon and river. Above exclamation point there are panoramic views of the canyon and surrounding mountains. The North Vista Trail is included in the Park brochure map.

Essential Gear


Standard hiking gear with enough water for an unshaded seven mile trip. Maybe a few snacks.
