OverviewWhite Rock Pinnacle is located on the extreme southern end of Mt. Wilson. The airy walk to the summit is stunning. To the north lies 400 feet of air; to the south over 1,000! Coupled with an impossible looking route, this is one of the best peaks in all of Red Rock!
Getting ThereEasy. From the Mirage on Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip) go north three miles and turn left (west) onto Charleston Boulevard. Drive 21 miles on Charleston (it becomes State Route 159) to the signed First Creek parking area on the right (west) side of the road.
Red TapeNo fees or Scenic Loop road to drive and cars are NOT subject to after hour fines!
CampingYes, at the 13 mile campground a few miles before Red Rock Canyon on State Route 159. Back country camping requires a free permit and you must camp above 5000 foot level. Call for permit 515-5350.
