Punta di Leissé (2.771m) is nothing but the central part of the long ridge that connects Mont Fallère (3.061m) to Punta dell'Aouillette (2.616m). Starting in the SSE direction it goes through Colle Finestra (2.729m), Monte Vertosan (2.821m), Monte Rosso (2.943m), Punta Paletta (2.812m), Passo Paletta (2.707m), Punta di Leissé (2.771m), the unnamed point (2.748m), and finally reaches Punta dell'Aouillette (2.616m) at its southern end. The southern and eastern slopes of Punta di Leissé are graced in summer by beautiful flowers, while the west side is covered by scree. The winter ascent, with either snowshoes or skis, is quite enjoyable. From the summit the views are exceptional and extend to almost all the summits of Valle d'Aosta.

Parents refers to a larger category under which an object falls. For example, theAconcagua mountain page has the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits' asparents and is a parent itself to many routes, photos, and Trip Reports.
