Approach
From Lecco, take the road to Valsassina (Barzio and Moggio).
The start of the route is at Colle di Balisio (730 m).
Route Description
From Colle di Balisio, take the road to "Chiesa del Sacro Cuore"(there is a parking)
From the curch, take the way to Rifugio Pialeral.
It's possible to reach this hut in about 1/1.5 hours from Balisio.
From Pialeral, take the route to Rifugio Brioschi.
Around 1800 m begin the east slope of the Grigna Settentrionale and the Invernale route.
Reaching the top ok Grigna Settentrionale is too easy but in winter, there is often danger of avalanches!
