I like to keep a healthy balance between hiking, scrambling, technical rock climbing, biking, highpointing. Not so much a runner. Hope to climb many, many, many mountains in my life. Being a Swiss citizen, I feel that it is in my blood to get to the top of as many mountains as possible. I don't care if the summit is of a small, dumb hill. As long as I am on the top of something, I am happy. It wouldn't be fair to name favorites...I like it all! I can climb (as of now) 5.11b on toprope and sport climb 5.10b-c. I lead moderate trad routes, happy to follow on anything up to .10 or so. Short-term goal: all CO 14ers before I graduate. State Highpoints also on my list. Travel is another one of my pleasures. I'd like to visit as many countries as I possibly can in my life, climbing and peakbagging along the way! Another hobby of mine, which goes hand in hand with mountaineering, is geography (also my major at CU). I'm originally from California, and purely Californian at heart so my love for the mountains began there. Not to brag, but I placed 12th in the CA state GeoBee in 7th grade. So yeah, I'm pretty good.
