Peak H

Peak H forms the Southern terminus of the Ripsaw Ridge. It requires the longest approach of all Ripsaw summits. Unlike its siblings Peak H's summit can be conquered without getting into Class III/IV.

Getting There

Only viable trailhead is at Piney Lake - getting to Peak H from the Black Creek Draynage or the Slate Creek Draynage would be very long and tedious undertakings. Get off at Exit 176 on I 70 - go west and turn on Redsandstone Rd, which turns into Piney Lake Road. Most of it is dirt road, can be a bumpy ride, but makeable for a normal sedan - just take it slow.Park outside the reserve gate to your right.

Children refers to the set of objects that logically fall under a given object. For example, the Aconcagua mountain page is a child of the 'Aconcagua Group' and the 'Seven Summits.' The Aconcagua mountain itself has many routes, photos, and trip reports as children.
